Hill nearer first team football at Bournemouth than he would be with us. Especially as they have just sold Cook to Florist.

Re: Commentary team from hell
How Crooks has a job “commenting” on football is baffling. His team of the weeks are laughable, simply picking the “11 best” and playing a bizarre formation - I’m surprised he actually puts a keeper in there At every opportunity he selects players that have scored, whatever their position. He has n...

4-4-2. Bin it.
SD has shown his loyalty to players too often but even worse is his insistence on 4-4-2. Our 2 CMs get swamped every match. It’s time to come into this century. If any two on our books were good enough they would struggle against the quality MFs they face in the PL. We need to go 3-5-2. Bringing Col...

I posted on another thread recently that according to the stats the only better CB in the PL is VVD.
He is an excellent defender but as the OP says he does tend to think he is Beckenbauer.
Stick to what you know, James.

We are supporters so support.
We all have players we love and players we wouldn’t have near the team but that is the managers job. That first win of the season sets you up for the year. Throwing 5 points away against Brighton & Leeds was a disaster. It is all confidence and we have none.

My biggest disappointment tactically has to be Lennon down the middle with Dwight & JBG wide. When he first broke through we were all assured that CM would be his position eventually. With his ability to beat a man these last two games were the perfect opportunity to give him a go. Now I sense we’ll...

Far too many of them have a guaranteed shirt and they are playing like it. All the energy of previous seasons has gone, they are just going through the motions. We need a big turnover and can’t afford it.

I don’t like letting players run out a contract. Even more so this season with the possibility of it being extended beyond their contract. They surely must start worrying about picking up injuries and start ducking challenges. Collins has looked good enough to start and if necessary Charlie can slid...

This is entirely down to his country requesting his release too late. However if Watford think they have pulled a fast one I’d be waiting to see what the players reaction is to being denied his place at the tournament. I would imagine Nigeria have a decent chance.
