Great Posts Soc, puts my thoughts on the subject and Dyches' attitude to them down, better than I could. "but it’s just so at odds with his persona and attitude on every other aspect of his job." Exactly. Its creating a negative feeling around the club, in the press and with the fans. Its Dyche that...

"As such, we need to bring in a CB who will begin push Mee and Tarks." Trouble with any sentiment like this is we have / had a CB that we all thought could push them. Dyche never played him, they've had a falling out and he now trains with another club. Its a fine, fine balance. And with the knowle...

I dont disagree Dyche wants out. But CP Is a massive risk for Dyche, Its a two / three year rebuilding job at best. In terms of Income their not that much bigger than us. Why would he look better playing for Burnley than he does for Man U - I’d have thought it’s a damn site easier defending for Man U. Maguire has been bang average this season. He’s making 2 or 3 basic errors every game. Because we defend more as a team, we push up less, we give the attacking players...

If we are backs against the wall, late on, Vydra running g channels, with his speed, is a good weapon. I would do it the other way around though. We'll be sitting back early and mid game, and need Vydra running into the channels to turn the defense and get in behind a line that could be pushed up. ...

Indeed and excellent read. and certainly a warning from those that have been where we are now. The "boredom", the lack of a goal, its a real thing. its why, as relegation is almost a certainty at some point, that I wish we took the cups more seriously. I know that its unlikely we would win one, but ...

Minimum two for each position, so CB, CM, and RW.
Then look to fill the remaining 2 / 3 in the squad either with youth players that look promising, decent fee'd youngsters from elsewhere or cheap experienced pros.
