Think he's a lot overpriced. If he's not good enough to get into a struggling Leicester side, then it says it all to my thinking.

He was certainly a link to my early youth with such programmes as Easybeat, Saturday Morning Club and Thank your lucky Stars. It's difficult for the youth of today to understand that back in the early '60's there was very little pop music on the radio. Plus it was mainly listened to on medium wave s...

By the look on Deano's face after the injury you got the feeling it was bad. You've come back from it before Deano and here's hoping that you make a quick recovery and come back stronger. We need you.

Re: Ross McCormick linked

The highly inflated fee, reportedly £12m paid by Fulham for this guy all but scuppered our chances of signing Troy Deeney. From there, getting another big money move to Villa is to my mind unbelievable and just shows how fickle the transfer market is. I would be staggered if we were interested in hi...

I've been one of Marney's biggest supporters, especially when he was taking a lot of stick from posters a couple of years ago on CM. I also think his injury against WBA in the PL last time out was a pivotal moment in our demise. Saying that, I don't think Marney's been at the top of his game for a w...

Another less than successful loan and I'd guess it's not come cheap. Not Bamford's fault, he's hardly been given a chance. I personally think this lad will be a good player given a run of games. It wouldn't bother me if we didn't sign anyone in this window. We certainly aren't desperate like I'd expected. Anyone coming in who can potentially improve the squad will want wages well outside our present structure and that could cause unrest. Also some of the prices being banded about are highly...

I'm not particularly concerned by the increase in flow of players in lure of the Renminbi or Yuan. Give it 12 months and I'll guess a lot will be coming back with 'their tales between their legs'. I would say it's a good proposition for someone in the twilight of their career, but someone in their p...

I think in this day and age, status and image are all important. So being in the EPL is the be all and end all. In 2013 Wigan Athletic won the FA Cup and got relegated the same season. That the PL is a lot better than in 14/15 season. As for 'us', I worry. The phrase Deja Vu comes to mind. Giving the ball away too easily, conceding goals at vital times (panic), getting turned over far too easily, especially away from home, and a general lack of quality. A glimmer of hope at the we...
