Hendrick aside, today's starting XI was players from last year. The closer we get to that, the harder goals and results will be to come by. We tried that in 2014/15 and it didn't work. If Defour & Gudmundsson need a game, I suggest we urgently arrange one and get them back in full contention. Absol...

The Boyd/Arfield axis does not work in a midfield 4 at this level unfortunately, both are too similar type of player and it kills us going forward. On that betting advert Jurgen Klopp says the most common time for a goal is 92nd (I think) minute. On at least three occasions Pawson failed to spot obvious fouls on Burnley players allowing play to go on,then to within seconds give a foul against Burnley. He also let Liverpool players get away with several late challenges that went unpunished (2x Can,1x Lallana, 1x Milner )

One big problem we have is down our right hand side. Three goals have come from that side due to players not closing the crosser down, also a number of chances are created from this area. If players insist on diving around 10 times in the box in a 90 minute period, unpunished by the ref,of course the cheats eventually win through. Naymar already on a booking after kicking through the back of a PSG player should have been carded twice after that incident for simulation
