Re: Ground Developments
Rebuild and the capacity need to go up or else season tickets would have to. I’d like to see the reaction on here if the latter happens. Just adding 8 rows to the Bob Lord would add a few thousand which would be more than enough. Could even look into what they did at Old Trafford/Anfield and just bu...

Too young to know but in past decades 70s/80s/90s did people spend a decent amount equivalent to what people do now on things such as Smart Phones, Sky, Netflix, etc etc.
Seems to me those are really luxury products that a lot of people generally have nowadays.

I know my definition thank you very much, I was just asking the person who said they had no problem with what was said. It’s quite clear what they mean. They’ve mentioned where you can get a beer around 2 hours up to kick off. Don’t have too many and acting up or else you’ll spoil the night for you...

Not exactly what it says. They’ve advertised where you can have a pint or several pints, but be warned, too many and you won’t be getting in. The police aren’t against people having fun and having several beers. But if you have too many and they will step in. I really don’t see the issue with what t...

We never intended to go up in 3 years time. To me it read as, “we have 3 years or bust”.
We’re not ahead of schedule at all, we’ve just done what we intended to do in the best scenario.

Turning the loyalty points system into a more dynamic one that changes with anticipated demand and size of the away end ie 1000 for Luton vs 6000 for Preston is the easiest way for the club to improve the loyalty points system. What’s the issue here really? Some people have more free time every weekends/midweek to travel around watching Burnley picking up points. We basically have to gain another 3 points over 3rd place by the time we play them.nil_desperandum wrote: ↑Sat Jan 21, 2023 12:57 pmDoesn't that assume that the 3rd place team pick up maximum points between now and then, (which is highly unlikely).

They did that on MOTD and it's pointless. If Rashford doesn't make the run, Casemiro doesn't play the through ball. Take Fernandes out and he doesn't take the shot. If Ikanji chases back harder he can get to the ball. All those things did happen though so it's moot. That just then confirms then tha...

Winning tournaments that come around every 2 years is very tough. You need to beat 2/3 top opposition to do it. Especially tough if you’re 5/6 favourite. Take club football, the UCL. Manchester City are one of the favourites every year. They have to beat 3/4 top opposition to do it. Have arguably th...

I’d like to see where people rank Southgate vs Pochettino. People would be happier with the latter, seems to get decent jobs and linked to them also. Yet has won nothing.
Saying he’s poor is just daft. He’s done better than proven winners have with a far less experienced squad available.

Awful game management. They never looked like scoring with 11 never mind 10. Make changes, hang on for the point and place yourself second a point ahead of both Iran and (likely) USA going into the final game. Avoiding a drubbing off England just might have got them through.

Saka, Sterling and Bellingham are too similar imo. I’d swap Sterling for Foden and that looks the best 11 for me. Foden can be the difference against packed defences which we’ll have to get through in these 3 group games.

Why would the club take him back to train???
A new manager comes in, wants to learn about not only the first team squad he has and wants to build on but those lads in the younger squads as well. Why would he invite a 35 year old who rejected a contract to remain at the club? Baffling.

I’m the opposite. New managers often don’t “get” football clubs and destroy lots of hard work that’s been done over many years. With Jay Rodriguez and (Hopefully) Ben Mee the transition under a new manager will be incredibly smooth. Those 2 know more than any others what this football club is about.
