Re: POLL: Which former player would improve our current side the most?

None of them would be a great deal better than what we've got and certainly wouldn't effect the dynamics of the side significantly. Ings would he is the only class player of recent vintage. Blake is too slow, Trippier defensively vulnerable at this level, Jay not as good as he was,Shackell and Jone...

yeah its a great place. a mate of mine went and hated it. probably not western enough. its hard to put a finger on the culture but out of all of them id say it feels mostly albanian.

Re: Vilnius, Lithuania

Some pictures from Skopje when I went. This was five years ago so expect it's changed somewhat. It was undergoing significant improvement / renovation and was a real unique blend of old and new, west and east, and a truly eclectic combination ofYugoslav, Greek and Albanian. http://i63.tinypic.com/24...

Re: Vilnius, Lithuania

Just to add to this thread, we were (for several weeks) between Vilnius and Skopje, Macedonia before we decided on the former. There was an earthquake in the 60s (I think) that destroyed much of Skopje and they've been doing a rebuilding project for a good while now. It looks a very interesting and...

Re: Vilnius, Lithuania

Re Tallinn - I'd love to go but the lack of direct flights from the north always puts me off, always a bit of a faff getting down to London for a flight in my view. Minsk - heard mixed reports. I believe most of it was flattened in various conflicts and what's replaced it is fairly dull 60's concre...

Perhaps a long shot but anyone been? :) Going for 3 or 4 days early December. I'm aware it's going to be pretty cold but would appreciate tips on things to see and do - perhaps even a worthwhile daytrip. Got tickets booked to see Lietuvos Rytas which is the local basketball team. Thanks in advance,...

Flights were cheap from Liverpool and accomodation very reasonable - think flights and accom for both us came to less than £200. Temperature wise we were surprised - the we...

Re: Who do you think will struggle next season

Any change to this after deadline day business and start to season?

Surprised to see stoke start slowly and Hull so well but still think that Hull will go down and Stoke be more than fine.

Watford dont seem to have done much good business nor West Brom.

Re: Have we the best defence in the division?

We have a couple of steady full backs who know their limitations are decent going forwards, good on the ball and defend well. We have a centre half in Mee who is as brave as they come. Doesn't try and do anything he's not capable of and first and foremost defends. Then Keane. He's like a young Ferdi...

Who do you think will struggle next season

and why? Burnley aside, because barring a miracle even with additions it will always be very tough. Who are the sides we will be competing with at the bottom? I predict the bottom 7 will be us and: Watford - their form in 2016 was poor. just five wins and only above Villa and West Brom in the form t...

Are they auctioning them off?

If not they should at least put them to use and decorate the interior of the ground. Over the bemreezeblocks either on the stand or concourse!
