Re: Do we need to sign someone in this window?
We have a decent sized squad now so numbers aren't an issue. It's really about adding players that can improve the quality of the first 11 or bring something different.

Re: Recalling loan players
I think it has been answered above. If a player moves on a season long loan then it can be ended by the loaning club (in this case Chelsea) if there was a clause in the deal. I'm assuming, therefore, that Arsenal didn't have such a clause in when they loaned out Wilshire although I'm not so sure th...

Re: 40 points
As I said in my opening comment, I think 40 points is well within our reach but that this should be more than enough to see us stay up. I think 36-38 points will be the more realistic requirement for survival.

40 points
First half of the season has seen us gain 23 points from 19 games with 22 coming from 11 home games (W7, D1, L3) and 1 from 8 away games (W0, D1, L7). A similar ratio of points gained at home and away in the second half of the season would see us pick up 16 points from our remaining 8 home games and...

Re: We wont win away all season
Under Coyle we got 1 win & 1 draw all season. (Hull & Man City) Two years ago we got 3 wins and 5 draws. Weren't Man City going for their 10th win in a row when we drew 2-2? Goes to show that there are strange results when you least expect them. And Leicester are as unlikely to win away all season ...

Government bond markets aren't awful. Gilt yields keep falling which means prices are rising. Risk to owning govvies is that interest rates rise and prices fall.brigante wrote:Not necessarily at the minute, the bond markets are awful. Re: Shares rocket to their highest since 2011!!!!
This recession was avoidable and there is real concern that it could last a while. I'm far from convinced cutting interest rates will have the desired effect on the economy. Borrowing costs are already very low and banks will be reluctant to pass on lower interest rates because their margins will j...
