Partly agree with the op , last seasons squad definitely needed improving . The problem is that when a system isn't working , you change it and try something else ( 3 in midfield NOT 2 ) . This has been the problem with both Kompany and Dyche , both successful but stubborn.

A lot of us have been saying since early October , that Amdouni is just a luxury player who doesn't offer much and is lazy . What does VK see in him to play him week in week out ? Surely he must see that our midfield is overrun every game whilst Amdouni just strolls around and never helps out .
