I really didn't mean to offend you, so I apologise if I did. I don't believe I am naïve, wrong sometimes, just like everyone else, I completely get we are still trading under the same rules and laws. However I (and the markets) also know there is a change coming, a big change, what the change ends ...

Re: Chris Wood injury.
If SD decides on 2 strikers then there isn’t anyone else than Vydra. Reality is there is a reason he has scored 2 goals for us in 2 years. Yes I appreciate he hasn’t had lots of game time but he has had chances to shine when coming on and in training. If he was scoring goals like Saturday everyday ...

Re: Trippier v Aurier
It's a shame Tripps seems to be happy at Atlético Madrid, because if he wasn't, I'm sure that Sean could persuade him to come back to Burnley. He's on record as saying he'd love to play for Dyche again but unless he runs down his contract at Atlético, it won't happen because the transfer fee would b...

Were you a remainer Gordaleman? No don't tell me, let me guess. Your guess is wrong. For the first time in my 72 years, I didn't use my vote in the referendum. Why? Simple. I didn't consider myself well enough qualified to know more about our role in the EU than our elected representatives. I suppo...

I think there would be every chance that we'd become over reliant on the high ball (again), but we'll never know now. But I would say that our tendency to lump it towards Crouch was a tactical low point in my personal opinion, and I wouldn't want to see similar tactics in future. Enjoy the MC game....

it's never too late to develop a sense of humour. I'm trying to, perhaps you should too. But i'm actually not displeased that whatever we bid wasn't enough to buy this beanpole of a centre forward. He's a beanpole that scores goals. What's not to like? Imagine what he could do with our set peices a...

A perfect replacement for Peter crouch? Anyone know how many Twixs we offered? That's a bit of a silly comment isn't it? Crouch came for peanuts at the end of his career. This lad is 25 and we apparrently offered over £20 million for him with Man U and Spurs interested as well. He's no Peter Crouch...

We can't afford to rush Barnes and Wood back, also too much of a risk to play Vydra who's not match fit regardless of his heroics last week, we can't afford to play Vydra and Rodriguez together with the lack of options we currently have. Get Lennon on the wing and Hendrick playing behind Jay. Would...

Re: Arsène Wenger uses Fifa role to propose new offside law
I like Wenger, (Best England manager we never had.) but this proposal just moves the goalposts. We will still have ridiculously marginal offsides, no matter what part of the body is excluded. Maybe just scrap offside altogether? It's time to scrap VAR completely. Before VAR, we had one man making a ...

I think that we all knew that recruitment was a long and difficult process, but that article takes it to a whole new level. Maybe we need to look where no one has looked before? Do they play football on Mars? I guess the academy needs to start paying for itself. It might have cost about £10 million,...

As soon as the EU doesn't give us everything we are demanding? And they won't.
The right wing is getting further right by the minute.

Re: Chelsea vs Man U
Simple answer to getting rid of VAR. All fans stand up and turn their backs on the game until it restarts. The PL would surely get the message. Then maybe we can cheer when a goal goes in? The old game relied on one man making a decision on the field of play. Now we have one man making a decision mi...

If we have to keep one of Lennon or Brady, I'd rather keep Lennon. At least Lennon grafts even if he has no end product. Brady just constantly gifts the ball to the opposition through trying to be cleverer than he is. Personallly, I don't think either of them are good enough for our continually evol...

Great show of unity at the end of the game when the rest of the team sent Vyds over to the Burnley fans first, before joining in themselves. I just don't understand how some people can't see Hendrick's attributes. He gets through such a lot of unnoticed work but has also scored some crucial goals. Yesterday, his pass to Vydra was the result first of his pass to Tarky who returned the ball to him. Hendrick then looked up, saw Vyds calling...
