Re: Brady final ball
He'll be fine, it's still very early in his Burnley career and there have been some promising signs of quality. The more time he gets on the field the more he will grow into the role.

Re: Pants pulled down
I wonder which different non-league team the media will fall in love with next year. Whoever it is they will certainly be living the dream until the next team lives it better. I suppose it is nice to be in the spotlight for a couple of weeks and we get to hear heart warming tales of postmen and lorr...

When you get to the end of the M62 be aware that when the speed limit drops to 50mph there is a speed camera just after.

Re: ARTICLE: Barton fit but duo ruled out with injury
One of the best players I have ever seen in a Burnley shirt. His ongoing injury situation is frustrating and we certainly haven't see anywhere near his best form. I'd hope we can find a way to get him in to the starting the XI on a regular basis as we look a more attacking threat with him in the sid...

Re: Brady
I don't want to appear to be wise after the event. However I constantly expressed my reservations about signing a player with 2 relegations from the Pl on his cv on previous threads. On top of that from watching more than a few Norwich games this season there was nothing to my mind to suggest he wa...

Re: Sorry Sam
He's not the type of striker to feed off scraps. He need consistent, quality balls into the box for him to attack. Give him the service that Llorente got today and he would be looking at 15 goals a season. Hopefully Brady will get up to speed soon.

Not as good as Deadspins why your team sucks series but a nice effort. It is a pity it fell into stereotype jokes instead of trying something original.

Our Academy is more successful than City's? I suppose in terms of producing players who get at least one first team game but I wouldn't describe our academy as being particularly successful over the last 25 years.

He had a poor game but is still our biggest attacking threat. Let's not forget that he is still developing as a player and has only had league football for a very short time.

A lot of our players had poor performances both regular starters and those on the fringe. Credit to Lincoln though, they played the game on their terms and then beat us at it. Interestingly, what I am reading from our fans today is very similar to what I've read opposing fans say after we have turne...

They thoroughly deserved it. They did to us what we have been doing to premier league teams this year. Seems like our strength in depth isn't as strong as we need it be. I have no complaints with the result and hope they can march on even further.

Shrewsbury Away 2nd round replay 1992 (ish) John Bond hiding in the stands. We had a player sent off, then we saved a penalty and then John Pender scored a winner right at the end. Utter pandemonium in the away end. It gave us Sheff Utd away in the next round (and that was a hell of a game as well)....

Re: Real Ale Prices
I make beer and the cost of raw ingredients has been steadily rising. Breweries have to do this on an industrial scale and when the 'grain bill' goes up, then so does the cost per pint. Another factor to consider is the rising cost of hops in a market that has decided to go mental for them. The tren...

The success of the development squad shouldn't be measured on the results of games they play. It should be measured on whether any players actually develop into first team contributors. We won't know whether this group is a success or not for another year or so. O'Neill featuring early this season i...
