Hi all,
Hi Lancaster: wonder if you could help me, please? I'm on the Institute for the Study of War site and want to open the daily update (you often put a link to it). For some reason, I can't open the update. Do I need to sign up to their email updates?
Many thanks!

It was inevitable. My team in France is Auxerre and watched the two legs knowing that there would be a riot if St Etienne were relegated. They already had one stand closed to "fans" chucking flares several weeks ago. A regular occurrence there. They have been unhappy with the owners for years which ...

I'm not sure history will forget something that isn't true elwa. De Gualle had very limited support at the time and there was no chance of a mere general (still a colonel in May 1940) was going to have full respect or support so soon after the collapse of France The only French fleet that ended up ...

I really cannot see any changes to the team that lines up. However, as it's the last game Jay, perhaps, might be on the bench to feature for ten minutes or so if we need to score at the end.
But really cannot see either magically fit again unfortunately.

The French version of TalkShite has decided to dedicate its football coverage to this story even though relegation places aren't decided nor who qualifies automatically for the CL.
I'm hearing it's "good news for French football". Yes, just what it needed to ensure PSG will walk the league again.

Whilst absolutely not a fan of Nirvana, I do like this song. I discovered it through the hugely underrated Ben Gibbard ("The Postal Servive", "Death Cab for Cutie") who covers "All Apologies" when playing solo concerts.

The Villa FC highlights show far more of his saves. The best is the Gordon Bankseque (as per West Ham) save but there's one in the first half that is really top drawer.

Was thinking about the chants from the 70s and 80s.
Fortunately, things have improved massively in English football grounds above all in terms of racist chants.
But you can't stop everything. It's just impossible.

No Vyds is not good. I do feel Barnsey is close to a goal but the squad is very limited. At least Erik is back just in case... For youngsters, both Lewis Richardson and Michael Mellon are injured. The only other option could be Max Thompson. But it's such a leap. Having Jay and Matej out is grim news.

Just seen the goals.
As Tony said, very good goal. You can't ask any more of a centre-forward than win the first ball, play it out to the flank and then power home the cross.
Delighted for Sam. I hope Wycombe can go all the way.
