The way he bought the club is never going to be palatable to the majority of us. These leveraged buyouts are just not right.. they shouldn’t be legal. However…. they are. People want him to address our concerns… he can’t. He’s took a gamble like many do in business. The nature of this type of deal m...

If I was Alan I’d probably be looking at a new management as a priority and the announcement being the positive starting point for a discussion of the impact of relegation.

With the goals he got in the premier league he would likely bag 20 plus for us in the championship…. However he’s off isn’t he.
He’s a snip at £17.5 in the current market.

Personally think Tarks would strengthen United and I imagine that would be a dream move for him.
Maybe they just wouldn’t see him as a big enough name, or exciting for the fans. He’s better than what they currently have in my opinion.

Feel like he’s a lot better with the ball into his feet. I can see him being tricky in the championship. A couple of early goals maybe needed to get his confidence up. Pretty sure it’s not gone how he envisaged so far so hopefully he’s desperate to prove himself.

Wood, Trippier and Howe were all pretty respectful today.
Wood and Trippier deserve a round of applause from our fans IMO. Both played a significant role for us and obviously hold the club in high regard. I’m not that bitter that I can’t give credit where it’s due.

I’d like to see us start a bit better. Last few games we’ve been slow out of the blocks for the first 15 or 20 minutes. Got to say though, tactically, Jackson has earned some respect. A win and worst case a draw against Newcastle will keep us up.
I’m sure the players will give absolutely everything Thursday… I just hope we get that rub of the green which really has been missing so far this season.

Jay is one of maybe three naturally, extremely intelligent (football wise), players we have.
Personally I’d put Jay, Cork and Mee in that bracket.
Happy with this signing. Pretty sure it will be on a reduced wage (almost certainly would be the case if we were relegated).
