Vital goal today. Solid performance and he’s a committed and intelligent player. Personally I’d like to see him sign for another year regardless of whether we are premier league or championship next season. It may well be bit part of we stay up, but I think he’s worth that new deal. Sure someone hin...

During that mini hot streak we played into his feet more. He was really really effective.
Great result today but the performance wasn’t at the levels of the other month. Hopefully we’ll get back there. I’m still pretty confident he will be an incredibly important player for us.

Fingers crossed we pull off the remarkable and survive, he gets carried away in the moment and puts pen to paper on a new deal for us 😅. Unlikely and in fairness he has earned a big pay day. After the first 20 minutes I really just wanted to leave. But second half I felt we picked up the pace a bit, tried to find ways through, and at least made the last 45 less of a drag than the first 45. BUT people have to be a bit realistic here. That city team is about as good as it gets. In the wor...

Couldn’t agree more. It’s unnecessary. Is it though? One of the most irritating things about football (IMO) is the knee jerk reaction of fans, and often club owners, who quickly forget how effective their manager has been, and call for their head (or sack them) as soon as a sticky patch is hit. Think he’s very much a Dyche kind of player. Works tirelessly, but he’s also got a little bit of quality about him.
Obviously works hard off the pitch too as his fitness levels are fantastic for his age.
He’s been pretty good for a while now and well worth a starting 11 spot.
