The FA cup doesn't matter for premier league clubs because the prize money is tiny. You get more money for finishing one place higher in the league than you do for winning the FA cup

I'm almost certain that a player of his Ilk would prefer a move to a premier league team (with a very good chance of staying up) over perhaps a couple extra thousand.

hourihane looks class. I would take him, offers a bit more flair and attack from the centre of the park.

He is a steady defender. Distribution is average at best. He is liable for goal every other game with a stupid mistake.
