Re: Huddersfield will have a new manager
Reading the Huddersfield message board online they're not best pleased with Dean Hoyle for this. They say Carlos Corberán has been given no money to spend. Reports a rival club have approached him and Huddersfield fans mentioning Wagner, Dyche and Rooney as possible new managers. It would be the ul...

Might explain why we've not been linked to any left-backs.
And the fact we've offered him a 3 year contract suggests that Kompany sees him as playing a role alongside Taylor this season.

No guarantees but that surely weakens them. Does that leave these teams as the favourites for Top 6? I'm amazed at some of the comments regarding Dwight on this thread, sure he didn't enjoy a good season last year, but he certainly wasn't alone in that. And now we're in the Championship, plus under new management with Kompany he'll thrive, and I'll wager he'll be in the Championship team of the sea...

Re: Transfer Rumours Thread - NO FINANCIAL DISCUSSION
Do you think Bastien is a replacement for Brownhill? Looking at his stats, he breaks up play, has 2.2 interceptions, has the energy but has over 80% successful pass completion. Seem very similar but for the end result. It's possible I suppose, and if selling Brownhill for a decent fee allows us to ...

Another huge chance for England right on HT, but Austria hanging on, and well it's only 1-0 they are still right in this contest.
Pleasing that England are creating chances, but we need to be more clinical.

5 now with Bastien confirmed, but plenty have also gone out, so we'll surely be looking at another 4/5 minimum, even if no-one else departs.
And all the newbies are 25 or under, so we'll certainly see the average age drop dramatically, which is no bad thing TBH.

It's all about opinions but I think most consider Ian Wright and Mitchell Thomas to have been big successes. Gazza is the stand out for me. Totally agree on Ian Wright, without him we might not have gained automatic promotion that season, and would have to have endured the lottery of the play off's.
