It is baffling how we appear to be totally under valuing Tella …his contribution last year alone has gjven us the platform we find ourselves in now …I think 15m is reasonable for him in todays market ..he made the championship look easy and if he won’t make the step up I’m concerned about a few oth...

All those who keep going on about wingers.
We’ve a 12 man bench with one natural winger in it today. Only Benson who would play there missing. That’s why we are still after more.

Been in the back of my mind for a while but with all the rumoured wingers. I wonder if there's any chance we feel Zaroury could benefit from a season on loan before he's ready for premier league football. I think it's an unpopular opinion but the likes of Redmond and Townsend (if he signs) may be o...

I don’t see Cullen as lightweight at all. He’s small perhaps but last season up against some big athletes he was surprisingly strong and I can’t recall him ever being out muscled.

It will be interesting to see how people think having the best NFL player of all time as a minority investor, plugging them on social media etc, will help Birmingham City. A couple of observations from me. T20 as a format was very quickly embraced in club and league cricket and I believe this also helped its initial popularity as people related to it at all levels. I’m not aware of any Hundred ball comps at league level and have maybe heard of an odd friendly here and...

A couple of years ago some expert on their forum was convinced that when Dyche left, that was it for Burnley. He must have been absolutely seething last season. Proof or stirring? 100% true. He was appalled by it and personally rang Southampton to suggest they don’t do business with us. You will need to phone through to the ticket office to sort - which seems to be pretty easy with no real wait time.

Another dynamic I’m interested to seen at Newcastle is how long Pope can last the pace. I think that now they are CL there could come a point where they need a ball playing keeper and the pressure will build. Just one to keep an eye on.

The benefit of signing Townsend is that he’s already Dyche fit. Really impressed tonight. We’ve got to have some perspective in that it was a pre-season friendly but he was our biggest threat and so positive on the ball. Great deliveries, shots at goal - seems a no-brainer on a free. I’m impressed how people can form such substantive opinions based on a mobile phone photo of a partly folded shirt taken from a peculiar angle.
The home shirt that so many loved last season looked bloody horrific on the first leaked photos. It’s now considered a classic.
