Re: Blackburn boss questions Huddersfield changes as Birmingham win
I would consider Smith, Billing, Kachunga, Mooy, Lowe, Wells and Brown as serious first-team squad members, so not a weakened team. Players with knocks need nursing back to full fitness for the play-offs. Then Wagner can choose from his full available squad if all are reasonably close to full fitnes...

I usually back about 6 each week and quite often have the winner, but for some reason I'm going 1 selection only, Rickie Fowler EW @ 22/1, first 8. He's continuing to improve in my eyes, he plays well at Augusta and has shown good form recently. Hope he can challenge for the green jacket but if not ...

Well, I have to disagree. At the end of the first half I has happy that we were level and that we seemed to just about have the measure of Spurs, in that neither keeper was busy. Some nice football played by both sides and I do remember thinking that although I wasn't excited at least KRBFC will hav...

His England appearances now mean that a buying club can no longer factor in 'potential' as a reason why they shouldn't pay full whack.

Quicknick, I'm hoping you've heard the expression, 'good job, well done'.
Over here, if we wish to congratulate a person on an achievment, we often say 'well done'.
Over there, if they wish to congratulate a person on an achievment, they say, 'good job'.

I like the English phrase of four words that is shortened by us both. They use the first two words, we use the last two words.

The wife's mother lives with us. I tend to watch tv upstairs as our choices hardly ever match. Mother-in-law likes 60's, 70's box-sets to the exclusion of almost anything else and some American series such as Ghost Whisperer or Charmed. When we have our evening meal Charmed is usually on and I reall...

Watching Luka Zahovic this evening. First half didn't have many touches but was tidy when there was nothing on. made a few runs doen the channels but the passes didn't arrive. Scored a 41st minute penalty to give Maribor a 1-0 half-time lead. Struck it cleanly to the keepers right hand corner, low. ...

Just seen a lovely goal, about 40 minutes ago, scored for NK Maribor (Slovenia) by Zahovic. Looks a relatively young player whose goal was premier quality. I...
