UEFA don't like the PL scheduling games in Champions League weeks, so whether Chelsea are still in it or not probably won't be a consideration.

Hendrick was probably our best player that half.

I don't think Long has been too bad but Bardsley was dreadful, he cost us 3 game winning goals in 3 consecutive games. in 18 years of watching Burnley I can't recall a worse right back. Michael Duff at right back was pretty bad, Dean West was better, Frank Sinclair was naff but better, Russell Ande...

I enjoy watching my team exceeding expectations and confounding the critics.

In those terms this season has been the best in in my lifetime, perhaps with the exceptions of Coyle and SD's first promotion seasons.

The first glimpses of what it's going to be like every season for this forum when Burnley are just battling to stay mid table, like numerous other clubs/fans have done before them. Can't legislate for conceding a goal like that. Southampton didn't look like they'd ever score and we were in total control until Bobby Madley blocked Westwood's path to the ball.
