Wish they would get rid of it.
If it was meant to correct clear and obvious errors then it shouldn't be like it is. Need an automated offside system like goal line tech and I think that improves VAR ten fold.

Robbie Fowler went heavy in property from what I remember. Michael Owen has his stables and clearly there is punditry for a number of ex pros. Vinney seems to have his fingers in lots of pies and have moved into other roles within the game. Neville, property, football clubs, hotels etc. Beckham - cl...

Maybe some people can see the bigger picture, just like they could when the owners took over, and after sacking Dyche, and after relegation, and after the sticky start last season. For me, I remain an optimist about the team and club regardless of what this season brings. We are no longer a team of...

That would be great news if they can also then come up with a way for fans to watch all of their clubs games without need to resort to dodgy IPTV providers, or other work around.GodIsADeeJay81 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 3:56 pmThey’re also thinking about scrapping the 3pm blackout

To me, he looks like he is full of potential and will be class if that potential is realised. Would have probably suffered like Benson I think with getting kicked and targeted in Championship as he would have definitely troubled a lot of the fullbacks at that level just with his pace. This level, pa...

I found it easier to just follow our links on X.
Follow a few journos and the Burnley linked accounts and you pretty much get the transfer discussion thread with little discussion.
Everything seems to get announced there first and then regurgitated on here.

Re: Summer transfer window 2023 - rumours, links and discussion.
VK has said we will change our system 3 or 4 times in a game if we need to. That's not what I meant. What I meant is that I can't see VK going back to a rigid back 4 like SD used to play. As you say, the players he has can change formations to do subtle system changes in a game. I can only conclude...

We have already changed our system in each of the 2 games this season I don't pay too much to the formations as I can never work it out since SD left. I do know though that we seem to like our RB/LBs being more advanced and its rare that I see us in a straight back four with all four defenders in t...

Bit of a daft response. Don't think anyone wants to do that. If we don't get get a new starter lb in, then we'd be mad to let Charlie go. Anyway, there's a fair chance that we'll have to change our system to stay up. I just don't get why people think Charlie Taylor would ever be considered as a per...

Both keepers in the Everton v Wolves game have kept the game 0-0
Pickford with one of his reaction saves from 6 yards out and a fantastic save at the other end to get the ball over the bar whilst the keeper was heading into the back of the net

I always think back to the times where we have had other clubs after our players and we have been unable to sell because we don't have the time/depth of squad to navigate the player turnover that needs to take place. Tarkowski was a good example - we could have had £30+m for him at one point but we ...

the model to me looks like we expect some to become attractive to bigger moves and some are getting ready to step up.
McNally, CJ, Twine are now developing in view of hopefully meaning they can come through when they have got more games under their belts.

Bit surprised by the fact Twine is being loaned out however, if it gives him more guaranteed game time and aids his development and we can recall him then can't see this being anything other than helping him and us get more experience.
