Re: Jonny Evans
Him signing for United now stretches the record which says United have had a player managed by Alex Ferguson in their squad since 1974 - which was Arthur Albiston.

Every chance he’s been signed to be an over age player for the U23’s.
It’s a thing now. Tom Huddlestone was at United last season. Jay Spearing is back at Liverpool.

Also strange that Chelsea sold Ruben Loftus-Cheek for £15m to Milan and apparently only want £15m for Callum Hudson-Odoi. Not sure where they get £20-25m for Maatsen. Zero logic when compared to the above two players. Suspect RLC and CHO are on 5/6/7 times a week more than Maatsen. That would be th...

It would interesting to know how much we earn from worldwide sales of replica shirts, especially so in America with JJ Watt doing his bit to plug them across the pond. An absolute pittance. It’s not about shirt sales. It’s about subscribers, followers, eyeballs on the club. If the Premier League be...

I’m amazed that it’s 2023, that we’ve been in the Premier League for most of the last ten years and somebody is shocked that a signing costing north of £10 million will be on £40k a week.

By your logic you might as well be countered by the somewhat silly “ Dave only earns £500 a week in a factory not 100k a week like Deli Ali so doesn’t have money to ease his childhood problems “ Sure if your out of form as a prem player you get bloody awful stick , but that goes with territory . 94/95 season ……. we beat them 5-1 at Turf with John Gayle scoring an implausible overhead kick.
I went down there for the return fixture where I think Kurt Nogan scored his first goal for us. I seem to remember us being 2-0 down very early on.

Some absolute ******** spoken on here about Maatsen’s defensive qualities.
For his age his level is fantastic. The defensive stuff can be drilled in quite quickly if need be. Less so his attacking ability.

Ian Maatsen is a very good player. I don’t think he would be nearly as good in a Sean Dyche team though.
