Re: Alan Pace
Why is it always about blame on this board? BFC have punched above their weight for years and what happened yesterday was inevitable at some stage. Garlick did wonders for Burnley for many years, but about four years ago, he said that we had reached a 'Glass ceiling' for investment (He's not a Saudi...

Remember the triple lock was only brought in because Nick Clegg and the LibDems wouldn’t sign up to the coalition without it. Tories, in power, absolutely hate it. Gradually eroding it would be no surprise to me. The timing of the next election could be critical to it’s survival. It's already been ...

Pretty sure Mike Jackson wouldn't involve Ben in the team selection. It would be unfair on Ben and put him in an invidious position.
One thing is for sure. When Ben eventually retires, he's guaranteed a job at Burnley. He can be the club's very own Mr Motivator.

I wouldn't bet against Everton beating Utd on Saturday. They will be hurting from last night and Utd have had a very poor season by their standards. Pope is very good at stopping the ball going into the net but he wastes more time than any other player I've ever seen, even when we're losing. He takes forever to take a goal kick, often changing which side of the six yard box to take it from. Why doesn't someone at the club have a bit of a word wi...

I was at the opposite end of the ground for his goal, but it looked like a very composed finish. No attempt to blast it, just a well controlled side foot volley. Very good strike in my book. I agree. His experience could be vital in the last nine games, plus he overlaps so much better than Roberts. He also puts in some wicked crosses which have so often led to goals in the past. Really don't understand why he was dropped in the first place.

When Russia placed nuclear weapons in Cuba, America, unsurprisingly got upset, and it nearly led to WW111.
