Re: January 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion

I do not care about nearly signings and excuses(we've all heard before), to date we've sold our main striker for £25m and have 1 potential incoming likely. If only fans making excuses gave us league points, we'd be fighting top 4. I went to bed excited and guess what, it's the same old same old, we...

Re: January 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion

I only have the same information as everyone else out there that journalists are saying. Even you must be concerned that it took 6 days to negotiate a £7m deal that ended in failure. 6 days for a small deal when we have just had 25m given to us upfront. Of course I'm concerned but that doesn't mean...

Re: January 2022 Burnley Transfer Window Rumours - Links - Discussion

All we had to do was pay the 7m up front, not in installments. After receiving 25m up front for Chris Wood then this is **** poor from Pace. And you know exactly what happened here do you? If so, you're the only one. Alan Pace flew to Zagreb himself to try and get this over the line, so don't blame...

Well someone, but it is a specialist sitting cm role in most teams. Ideally someone new, but of those players we have now it suits Cork best if he is the 1 in a 4141. I bet Chris Wood's wages were significantly higher than either of the two coming in will be. Not sure why you think that. Well hopefully after these two signings with £8m leftover from the Wood sale and the money supposed available previously we should be able to bring in a £10-12m midfielder as the very least but if money is as tight as rumours suggest then maybe it won't happen. There are plenty of critics of Pace on this board but he played a big part in bringing Cornet to the club, and now it looks like he is about to repeat the trick with Orsic.

I think you’re being a bit harsh on Tarkowski.
