Most posters said he needed time but some just wanted and still want to write him off. Hope he makes them eat humble pie and the early signs look good. What's pretty obvious is that the numpties are trying to write him off because he wasn't effective against Champ teams seige defending with 11 men ...

It all feels a bit bizarre on here. We've got a very fast powerful talented kid playing at centre forward, who's just totally p1ssed the mom in his first ever Prem game against the best club in the world...and we still have this motley collection of gloomy negative herberts with nothing better to do...

Found much of the Shetlands a bit barren tbh... Much preferred the Orkneys, the Hebrides and the West Highlands. Mull and Iona are beautiful and there's no shortage of sites..and some awesome remote approved wild camping areas. Shut your eyes if you go via Glasgow through Greenock.. It's dreadful.. ...

I don't get too sniffy about who's around me. It's an earthy game and it takes all sorts to make a crowd. Not sure I'd want to be in some gathering of the sanitised genteel classes. When my own kids were exposed to the occasional drunken gobsh1tes and loud-mouthed simpletons I tended to use it as an...

Admit he looked sharper but strikers are measured by scoring goals. Early arguments in his favour were some 'homesickness' maybe then the number of minutes he'd only played which soon turned to just a few games. A full pre- season was then seen as necessary for him. He had that, played a lot of gam...

Trafford. 7.no howlers.prepared to launch it when required..well behind Muric with the distribution. Roberts. 7 solid. Al-dak.. 7 great engine. Beyer.. 7 wasn't a pushover, but not his best ever game OShea.. 6..Give him time. Vitinho.. 5 the weakest link.. He's not looking like a PL player tbh. Cull...

I'm no goalkeeping authority, but It certainly looks like Muric has had a clear edge in pre-season.
Is it beyond the bounds of credibility that Muric may currently be in the shop window? The lad from Orient (?) looks a bit too useful to be just making the tea.

Gnonto would be a no from me. There’s a reason Leeds got him so cheap despite him appearing for the Italian national team, there’s also a reason despite there struggles last year why he spent plenty of time starting as a sub for more than one of their managers. His output of goals and assists from ...

Been a bit of a nause tbh.. Mine was delivered yesterday on Scillies..days after I made the trek up here... Not insurmountable, but I'll have a bit of fannying around to sort it out now.
Sorted. In and out the ticket office in less than 2 minutes.

Age about 14/15 in the pub that is now Mario's in Bacup - can't remember the name but it was blatently obvious we were way too young. Wasn't long before we'd ventured into Horaces either
Waterworks? Or happen it'd be the Swan.

Some distasteful stuff being suggested from a handful of ball bags during that very brief period in time.
Nothing to compare with the sh1te I dealt with over the 10 years I worked in child protection mind.

Club could cut costs by punting most of the ticket office staff till next feb/march and just opening for a couple of hours a week.
Must be running that office and paying all those staff for doing next to nothing now, surely?

He was pony in last years Charity Shield. I’m sure he’ll be well up for Friday.
Good to see you think Haaland and Foster are similar standard players.
I'm not sure Fosters quite that level yet BTW, but I think he'll get pretty close.

Muric looked up for the challenge. Beyer looks like a world class cb in the making. Al Dak continues to grow in confidence. As does Twine. JRod look sharper than last year, and Zarouri looked a touch more aggressive. Amdouni and the Italian kid both looked like cracking additions. Cork did OK as did...

I know we all want Foster to be a success but he just isn’t taking his chance to impress. Time to try someone else. The entire team has created the square root of feck all since I switched on.(after 10mins).with Foster busting his arse trying to create something from bugger all...but let's not pass...

A bit of an "" after the Lord Mayor's Show"" feeling about the coming season for Tella. He's being denied a well earned tilt at the Prem.....something Southampton may well come to regret.
Fair play to the lad for putting on a brave face and acting professionally.

Bit surreal atm... Burnley sides have picked themselves since about 1958.
Its hard to think of a single player who's nailed on to start next Friday.
Beyer and Roberts look pretty sure to get the nod, beyond that I'd not bet the ranch on any one player.
Is that a good thing?

Apparently their no.1 keeper, Kaminski is on his way to Luton for a knock down fee with no replacement on the horizon. Suggestions that there's a fire sale starting.

It's not a fun 'reveal' video we are talking about. It is obviously going to **** off Southampton. Its not the way you negotiate a deal. So the question is, does Southampton being ****** off with Pace and Burnley make it more or less likely that they do a deal? And if it all comes down to money in ...
