Re: Callum O'Hare
Vitinho makes mistakes but you can see the improvement in him end he’s confident enough to try and take the ball forward. Is this a bit like the ‘he tries really hard’ thing? Personally, I need a bit more than that. If he’s shown improvement it’s from an incredibly low base. He’s nowhere near the r...

Re: Callum O'Hare
I don’t think anyone would disagree with what you say about both full backs but I think the point being made was that Taylor is far better at left back at this level than both Vitinho and Roberts are at right back. Both sides need upgrades but if everyone is fit I’m much more confident with Taylor a...

All went to bigger/better clubs and probably on a lot more money. Townsend would have been a bench warmer at best. Boey now linked with PSG so pretty sure he's now out of our reach (if he ever was within our reach in the first place). They would have to for him to go anywhere I reckon! How much would you say they would have to contribute for Ings to come to Burnley - £100,000? I can’t see that happening.
I’m obviously guessing and assuming just like you, though.

There's lots of reports Ings is West Ham's highest earner on £150,000 a week. Based on that, is it really realistic? I'm not sure West Ham would help us out that much!

Maatsen to Dortmund almost done according to Fabrizio Romano...thank goodness. We need to move on now, it was probably very unlikely to happen once he'd turned us down in the summer. Can Tresor play down the middle? For the last few weeks (first, when Foster wasn't available and more recently when Foster has run out of steam) I have been wanting Tresor on down the middle. He did ok but will always struggle in a midfield two playing this shape against PL opposition. I thought our two central defenders were outstanding tonight. I've not understood the criticism of O'Shea to be honest but I've been a big critic of Delcroix. You can only assume the option to buy will be based on Southampton winning promotion….in which case a fee like £20m won’t be an issue for them and will probably be money well spent if he helps get them promoted.
