Not sure what he’d cost but I’d much prefer we went for someone like Verschaeren at Anderlecht (given Kompany link) if we’re shelling out big money in that position. Would’ve loved for u...

Apparently Blackpool only want around £3m for Bowler. Go get him!

Get O’Hare as well.

And get Benson too.

All for pretty much the same money as we are getting for McNeil.

We need to see a statement from Burnley in the next couple of signings - not signing unknown/unproven players.

Not so. If the release clause is met the player still has to agree to go. If he decides to stay he could stay.

Whether VK can talk Cornet into staying or not is a tad irrelevant due to his release clause. If someone comes sniffing there is no negotiating to be done - the price is already set. It's only £17.5m and if this is met, no matter how late in the window, then he will be off.

O'Hare would be a great signing....as long as he's Cornet's replacement - not McNeil's. O'Hare has been good to watch for the last couple of seasons whenever Coventry have been on the tv. O'Hare, McNeil and Twine would be some incredible creative talent at that level.
