Re: Protesting Kids

How much difference does an eco setting make? I don't actually know if my washing machine has an eco setting because we always use the 14-minute setting. In percentage terms, how much less power does a 2-hour or 3-hour eco setting typically use? Why do you use the 14 minute setting? Are you washing...

Re: Protesting Kids

People thinking 'what difference does it make if I do such and such' are part of the problem because virtually everyone thinks like that. I work in the white goods trade and trying to convince people to use the Eco setting on their washers, dryers and dishwashers is like pulling teeth but it really ...

Re: Is home advantage still the same as it once was?

Possibly but if you look at the teams and the form of the teams involved in those nine games, there weren't many surprises. I think most of the results were to be expected anyway. If you look at the fixtures I would imagine that every home team apart from Newcastle would've fancied their chances to...

He's offside when the ball is played, but the ball is then deliberately played by an opposition player, so just like the Mbappe goal for France against Spain the other week, he has to be onside.

May seem like a daft question, but does a team reduced to ten men have one less penalty taker in the shoot out, should it come to it?

I mean if it comes down to the 11th man to take.

You've got positional bias as well as partisan or personal bias. A ref that was a striker would be more likely to officiate how he would have liked to have been refereed, likewise a centre half ref will be more inclined to let strong challenges go.
