We all have our dreams. I’ve always wanted to go out with Natalie Portman. Our life would be like an endless reel of perfume adverts. Bedtime here so I'll be quick. I know you are not trying to put words in my mouth ,and maybe Kompany will learn over time , but on this season's evidence he will be nowhere near as good as those you mention. Nothing you can do about situations like that but I would say majority of goals we have conceded just before or just after half time have been from our own mistakes same for loads of teams that concede at the end of both halves, Man Utd being the prime example recently. I've no idea to be honest. The club don't readily give out information unfortunately, for example they reported Beyer's was just a loan in summer 2022 and we didn't even confirm Obafemi's permanent signing last summer at all. When Trésor signed I think we just said it was a straight loan but it was...

City for me because I love watching KDB and Foden. All very true but I'm genuinely surprised at how Kompany has been unable to instil more discipline in the players as the season has progressed. The persistent poor timings of the goals and the very high constant number of red cards is evidence of a manager unable to be firm enough. tbh I'd say at l...

For sure - that's a huge factor. My point was more setting the team up for failure/success... It's up to the manager to have a style of play that maximises the talent available to them. Not shoehorn players into a certain style - because if it is that then you'll never have continuous success. If w...

Its not about luck. Its about managing players. People thought Dyche was 'lucky' with Joey Barton. In terms of standards, I’ve observed a real lack of work rate from a number of players this season which shouldn’t be tolerated. So if Vinny does work hard, and I’m sure he does, this obviously doesn’t rub off on the squad as a whole. Those players not getting a bollocking, and then starting the ne...
