Re: Sean Dyche Matthew Syed interview
Interesting - did not remember HOW bad that season had been. Just had a look at the result and there were a few draws in there which ameliorated the feel. What date SD get potted out of interest? Already answered below, that season was rotten, just as bad as this one imo. The performances in the Br...

I thought Pace remaining quiet after relegation was strange but I don’t see what you want him to clear up?

Quite agree. Whoever was to blame the breakdown of his relationship with Garlick had killed a lot of that unity. Although he looked set to be reinvented with the new owners, it never really felt like the love and unity was still there. I hoped it would return but was neither shocked nor devastated ...

In what sense have they been a success? Odabert wouldn't go for anymore than we paid, he's shown glimpses but been largely ineffective in games he needs lots more experience before his value goes up. Re: The £100 million
Talking about “what if Dyche had been given £100m” is just stupid talk for Football manager enthusiasts.
The wage bill under Dyche was around £90m a year. What is it now? £30m?
You can spend more when the wage bill is lower, I thought that would be pretty obvious

The value of them right now does not matter, it’s the value of them when they’re sold. Ramsey right now probably isn’t worth more than we paid but 3 years down the line, if he becomes half the player his brother is, he will be worth more than what we paid.

And also let me add it’s a damn shame some of you lot have already made your mind up on some of these young new players, you’re slagging them off when their Burnley career has only just got started.
Some of these youngsters could leave as modern day BFC hero’s like Trippier, Heaton, Pope etc.
