Steve Kindon was the most exciting Burnley player I ever saw. He was not the best but was certainly the most exciting and fastest. I have never seen anybody quicker... but for Skippy, power, strength and speed was about it.....but it was brilliant to watch and often enough to open up the opposition.

Good read. Thinking back did many Burnley fans think promotion was possible/likely? We finished the previous season really strongly with 6 wins on the bounce. The team was really settled and Dobson imperious. I really thought they'd go well but in truth it's so long ago....... i can't remember lol

Jepson once came on as a sub at half time and they played a full 45 mins together up front......cant remember the opposition.

Players come, players go...managers have to evolve a team. I'm sure Hendrick was planning to run down his contract but expected a whack for playing beyond June for 7 more games...having had 3 months off. I can't believe Dyche seriously expected the chairman to rubber stamp keeping all those players ...
