Re: Midway
I'm into WW2 history. Haven't seen Midway yet but will give it a go for a few quid. Dunkirk I thought was ok but not fantastic. Struggling to think of 'modern' WW2 films that are better than 'ok to good' though did enjoy 'Darkest Hour' with Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill Would love to have seen th...

It's easy to laugh at the car crash tv that is Trumps' press briefings but I genuinely think the guy is suffering from some form of dementia be it Alzheimer's or something else (just a layman's guess, I'm not a doctor) It's actually quite sad and disconcerting to see a POTUS floundering about in the...

Was working from home until yesterday then got a call from my line manager and a HR person to say I'm now on furlough. Bit surprised tbh but being paid 80% of my wage not to work doesn't seem too bad under the circumstances though can't help thinking it's a pre-cursor of future changes to come if/ w...

Hmm, I hope so...don't want to be caught out with no MOT if it doesn't automatically extend! Website says you can check your MOT history a few days before the original expiry date and keep checking back until date of expiry to make sure it has been extended automatically as it should be. If it's st...

The expiry date will automatically be extended on the day it expires (or possibly a few days earlier) so you won't be able to renew just yet.

Not sure I'd include Gazza either even though he was well past his best and only played a handful of games. It's right. 2.5 + (2.5 squared) + (2.5 cubed) + (2.5 ^4) + (2.5^5) = 405 1.25 + (1.25 squared) + (1.25 cubed) + (1.25^4) + (1.25^5) = 14 Or a more longwinded calculation that comes to the same conclusion:- 1 x 2.5 = 2.5 more infected (day 5) 2.5 x 2.5 = 6.25 " (day 10) 6.25 x 2.5 = 15.63 " (day 15)...
