What is that new song we come out to? It’s bloody awful - limp, bland and does nothing to rouse an atmosphere.

I’m not suggesting that but I do want to see more of a ‘for the team’ ethic. I think it’d be naive not to expect a level of that, the way we play. There’s a balance to be had, of course!!

Re: Is Max okay?
Pretty sure he has (had until United) the best goals per minute record in the PL. Only Burnley fans could complain about that. I’m certainly not complaining, I’ve seen signs of a very good player and I’m not criticising him. What I am saying though is that so far, I’ve not seen enough to warrant th...

I’m yet to see a game where I think he’s been as great as many of his plaudits suggest. Great goals, flashes of real potential but not yet a wow he really is that good performance.
I’ll get pelters for this, but can only judge on what I’ve seen so far.

The mobbing issue wan one that was supposed to be a focus, years ago. Isn’t it already only supposed to be the captain that can speak with the referee? If they really wanted to stamp out all the silliness in the game, they’d be booking and sending off players. As GIADJ says, all this has been going ...

Shilton retired earlier than that. South all played later - I think he was coaching at Bradford City and was called up due to injuries. I don’t think he played after that, in the league at least.

Not seen the first point discussed before so who is it that is paid less money if Burnley are relegated? It was like trying to gain yards until we got to a point where the ball could be thrown into the box.
I was expecting a far more threatening throw - it was more like a big up and over that gives the defence an age to pick up the flight.

Tarkowski was the one that stood out.
For those wanting him gone after two poor displays, that’s two recent good displays on top of plenty of others this season.

Livened up in the second half, by what looked like a black dog poo bag, blowing around in the wind. It was a little reminiscent of the scene from American Beauty. Sadly it blew away and my attention shifted back to the dire display of “football” on show.

We’ll never know but had Wood not been sold, would we have brought no one in? From a before the window to after the window view point, this is what we’ve done, which isn’t good enough.
We’ve not addressed key problems so I can’t see how it can be scored anything above a three, at best.
