Re: England vs Poland

The problem with the media - and you see it everywhere, not just sport - is there’s always a narrative, and whatever happens is always viewed through that lens. The narrative around Pope, right from the off, has been, “he’s poor with his feet” so every time he plays, that’s what’s under scrutiny. S...

Re: England vs Poland

I'm sorry, but whoever the 'keeper was tonight, if they made that pass to Stones it wouldn't be the 'keepers' fault. Stones immediately apologised after HIS error. It's as though everyone (apart from Keane!) seems to want to blame Pope. Just a total nonsense.

I've stopped watching the "expert" analysis from Dermot now. It has to be the most pointless slot on Sky ever. Dermot comes on, agrees with every ref/VAR decision then walks off. They must be paying him a fortune as he just looks stupid as he tries to justify every nonsense decision.

Another very, very good game from Vydra yesterday. Dyche would be mad to change he and Wood whilst they are linking up so well. But, as Riley says, when form or fitness drops then we have Jay and Barnes to step up. All our strikers can do a decent job and I feel thankful for that. As for style of pl...
