Re: £385.000 a week
I quite agree Gordale, unfortunately a majority those on low incomes who can't afford Sky will find their way to the pubs to watch it and spend a considerable amount of money drinking copious amounts of alcohol whilst watching the matches for free. A double edged sword perhaps You make my point for ...

So pointing something out to someone makes someone a "right wing racist".....wow. As for hindsight, maybe foresight needs applying before joining/supporting a specific cause. In respect of sport, whether it was the intention or not, it's the reality, pointed out by many, but it only seems to be res...

What if I want to watch football on Sky but think a player earning £385K pw is utterly ridiculous and, somehow, just shouldn't be permitted ......are the two things incompatible then ? May I respectfully suggest that you read my posts properly. To clarify, I think it is right that every single person of every race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality etc etc etc be treated as an equal. Just a thought. (No names, no pack drill.) Strange how so many right wing capitalists on these boards complain about players being paid huge sums of money, funded by capitalist companies at the expense of the man in the street. Simple answer. Stop paying to watch sport on TV. Without companies like SKY, BT, Amazon Prime funding games, wages would soon fall and we might get back to 'Free to air' sport on channels like the BBC.conyoviejo wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2020 9:33 amObscene and all that's wrong with football. I think you'll find that most people who joined in the 'Black Lives Matter' protests, were not even aware that there was an organisation called 'Black Lives Matter', never mind knew that it was a political organisation with views some people might not agree with. Thought the Brady extension may have been a master stroke to keep Hendrick. If it was, it backfired, but would certainly leave us needing to sign another player. No way we can afford to replace so many players in one summer. Also impressed with Brownhill. You're missing my point completely. We've o...

So you base that on one performance. I think Hendrick is a big loss and it is also obvious that Dyche does. I am an admirer of Hendrick and he's the only player I would have kept in this contract saga. However, he made his mind up to leave having been offered a new contract and that's his right. No...
