It makes little difference how much we improve our youth development until we have some kind of committment to actually giving them first team experience. I can't see that happening while we are either struggling to survive in the EPL or going for promotion to it. O'Neill is now an example of stalle...

I think we need to cut AG some slack right now.
If he gets 6 or more I would call that success.
He's really raw to be leading the line at PL standard, and look at the money spent on top strikers...we couldn't get near it.

Going back to the OP. The Championship may not be the zenith of achievement, but at least there is the genuine possibility of a top 3 finish for many of the clubs in it. The EPL is no longer like that, the "global brands" get bigger and bigger, leaving the rest so far behind that it is no longer rea...
