I am in several birder sights on Facebook, we have a Nikon camera body with sigma 500 lens. It’s very heavy and walking with gets tiresome. When I asked on one site on one birders thread. Several have moved over to cameras like the Nikon P1000. Hugh digital zoom and takes great pictures at very lon...

Thanks for the offer Ziggy and Alp but they're not the right 1 for me. Buying a car has been a lot easier than buying a camera. I'd a good chat with Guppyspotter this morning and he gave me some very helpful advice. The Nikon D500 camera is the one I want/need. It's a very popular camera with bird ...

Re: Camera/Lens advice
You will need a Nikon body to use with the lens. D500 is an excellent choice. You might also consider a Nikon D850 (better choice) given the relatively small difference in price used. ALPS is a fantastic photographer but I'm the one who deals in cameras, he just uses them brilliantly! The alternati...

I get that those who travel away should be rewarded, just not sure putting everyone on the same footing is the right way, we'll just have to see how it works Roughly translates as ‘if you’re older and had more opportunity to go to games years ago, you should get priority.’ The new system is fairer,...

The ROI is massive ! its called customer satisfaction. It doesn't have to be a direct measurable financial return. A football club needs fans to survive. Even Burnley can go from 22k to 2K fans within a few seasons eg relegation/ bad management etc . Keeping customers happy with a system that they ...

Which is wrong in my opinion. I’m not saying don’t let people into a ballot past a certain point so you’ve got a chance but surely there has to be some incentive to keep going. Otherwise, what’s the point in continuing to accrue points past 6,000? Because you want to watch the football? Surely no o...
