Am I alone in finding it poor taste to pretend you’re homeless for a night and make light of sleeping rough having brought creature comforts with you to make it easier?

It’s great they’re raising money for the charities involved but I don’t think it’s a respectful way to do it.

You will need a Nikon body to use with the lens. D500 is an excellent choice. You might also consider a Nikon D850 (better choice) given the relatively small difference in price used.
