Imo it depends on the fitness and form of JBG. If he stays fit and finds some of his old creative form I think we will just about survive.

Garlick and Dyche have not recruited any 'quality' competition/cover at right half back and we could pay very dearly if JBG gets injured again.

Any serious investment plan will need (as the no.1 requirement imo) to include finance for one £20-30 million 'quality range' player every year for the next five years.

Tier 3 lockdown won't stop the spread of the virus if schools and colleges/universities stay open. A 3 week (time limited) COMPLETE and NATIONWIDE lockdown will be needed every 4-5 months until an effective vaccine is available. The virus is spreading like wildfire through schools, collages and universities. The spread then passes on to parents and grandparents. If he signed, Wilson would compete with JBG as a right sided attacking midfield player. Owing to JBG's (genuinely unfortunate) fragility he has every chamce of REGULAR PL football.

Managed to find a NEW iPhone SE 2016 model (£130) - 4" screen, lightweight and extremely compact. It runs iOS 14.0.1 so the software is up to date.

A very impressive piece of technology.

It's becoming increasingly obvious that we need more creativity, technical ability and forward passing vision in central midfield (a new Barton/Defour). Might cost £10-20 million but for the right player it will be money well spent.

If you are wearing a mask and the Covid infected person is wearing a mask then transmission of the virus seems unlikely. Many people will be advised to 'lock themselves down' for two weeks without any real scientific evidence.

It would be useful if the app could identify the id of the phone which is being carried by a positive covid person. Police could then be informed and investigate why they are 'out and about' in the pub/supermarket etc.

The post I was referring to was the one from years ago. However, development might still happen if the cricket club is offered a big enough cheque by anyone who takes BFC over. Maybe quite quickly, but these Americans might have totally different ideas. Is it big enough for a baseball pitch? :o

To use this new app - If you use a compact and lightweight smartphone (an old one) you will probably have to upgrade to a heavy modern one with a 6" screen which won't fit in your trouser pocket (i.e. a brick). Whatever happened to miniaturisation?
