Well I'll look forward to watching him play. If he drags this Man Utd team to the top of the league he really will cement his place as the best player ever.

And the fact that 24 hours ago Man City fans were crowing about him signing for them makes it all the better.

Retained the ball well for long periods. Created almost nothing. Should have lost given the (few) good chances created by Newcastle. Apart from one slip in the 2nd half, Collins looks very assured. Hennessy 10 Bardsley 6 Pieters. 6 Mee 8 Collins 7 Cork 4 Brownhill 7 Lennon 5 McNeill 7 Wood 5 Rodrigu...

Fascinating fact - because they were behind the schedule on the lunar surface they didn't have time to transfer the camera from Armstrong to Aldrin which is why there are no (decent) photographs of Armstrong...

Easy decision. He's not getting anywhere near the England squad with Southgate in charge. No matter who we play, 7 of the players are going to be defensive, plus Kane, plus the keeper so he's looking for one of the two remaining slots with about 12 others.

That was 19 years ago, hardly qualifies as ‘these days’. You have to go back 10 years to find a team relegated with 39 points, it only happens about once a decade.
So it will happen this season then?

I was there. After the game the exit on the right hand side of the concourse (facing away from the pitch) was partially blocked by a van which caused a huge crush of people trying to get out. The police had to smash the windows to get in and release the handbrake to get it moved.

Probably unfair to pick on Stones but as a unit, the England defence have at least one mistake in them per game against the better teams as they persist with Pep-ball at the back without the skill to pull it off or the brains to realise when not to try it.
