‘Mad as a Hatter’ - food count v Luton (January 12th, 5pm cut-off)
Ladies and gents, please accept my apologies for being late to this crucial ‘Mad as a Hatter’ food count. In all honesty, I had set my phone to remind me to put something up this evening, but that was with the game being played three days later. I forgot to bring that forward by a few days when the ...

It should be live (it’s my turn)…The moving of the day has thrown me… I had it in my phone calendar to start tonight but the fixture came forwards three days.
I’ll have something online today. Apologies!

Luton v Bolton (FA Cup, 2pm)
Perhaps a game to keep an eye on… Luton have requested that Issa Kaboré (on loan from Man City and having an excellent season) remains at the club, until after today’s game, before joining up with Burkina Faso at AFCON. With Burnley and Luton scheduled to play one week on Monday, a draw in this game...

Cheers Dave,
Yes it’s interesting how refs in positions, 5-8 and 12-15 have all officiated a significant chunk of games.
Sam Barrott will add to his match total on Friday.

I put mine on for the West Ham game and it said resold. Someone used it but now I cannot find a credit anywhere. Might it have been taken off my direct debit? Exactly what happened to me. Re: World Darts Championship
Darts is incredibly good right now but we are potentially reaching a phase where one group of legends (Anderson, Wright, Barney etc) move aside for the next set of stalwarts, and that group will likely include Littler. It will definitely include Humphries, who is sheer class and I think will win the...

RATE THE REF - League Table Update - Welch enters in second spot; Tierney and Attwell drop
Hi all, Here is the latest RtR update. Following her impressive display at Fulham, Rebecca Welch enters our table in League Table position number 2. Paul Tierney produced a 'Typical Tierney' performance against Liverpool and despite his average dropping by a few points, he kept his 20th position. St...

This is very interesting, reading this. I was unable to attend the West Ham game, so I put my ticket on the exchange. It’ll be interesting to see how things play out. VK in his own words said that on average, we’d need to sell 3-4 players for the ‘model’ to work.

In this right here is our ‘Moneyball’ model. Fall in love with players at your peril: losing Benny for a decent profit might allow us to keep three or four of Koleosho, Zaroury, Odebert, Foster, Amdouni….

With the priority absolutely having to be on Luton, do we play ‘the squad’ at Spurs, or the first XI, in the hope that we maintain or form?

Staring into the abyss, with some optimism…
I always look for a positive in any conversation relating to BFC and right now, it’d be very easy to throw the towel in on the season. I started supporting Burnley in 1992…a good season to start, albeit with a low bar. Ever since then, the trend has very much been an upward trajectory, but more, eve...

Re: DCMS Committee tell football clubs to take fan drug use at games ‘more seriously’
My thread at the start of last season rightly had to be pulled, as it got out of hand with people being abusive, but I stand by what I said….that opening Friday night fixture in Huddersfield was a massive eye opener as to just how many people were ‘possibly’ under the influence of drugs and how quic...

JOHN BROOKS is currently 3rd place in RTR (75.00) Thought he was absolutely magnificent. Brilliant use of advantage. Allowed play to develop as much as possible and played his part in enabling a really open an interesting game to form. In a league of ‘questionable’ Select Group One officials, I thin...
