Sad news. He did a Sportsmens' Evening at KSC 110 Club in the mid 1980s and was good value.

Re: How was/is your Football Disciplinary record?

Played in local leagues until mid-40s, mainly in defence. Booked twice: once by Arthur Spedding (formerly landlord at the Forester's Arms) on pitch 2 at Towneley and once by Alan Ludlam in the Wednesday night 5 aside league at the Thompson Centre. The first was a nonsense and the second totally just...

Interesting quote from Parry (as reported by the Daily Mail: Parry told the Independent of the Premier League in 2018: 'Transparency is key, with each club having a single vote and no sub-committees. This means there is proper accountability.' What’s changed, Rick?

Iam saying they are being critical because he's shite, needs to take a breath, needs to learn how to pronounce certain words, and how to put a sentence together, after that he needs to brush up on his football knowledge. That failing hasn't stopped Robbie Savage getting on multiple TV & Radio shows.

Everton still have the Toffee Lady.

I'm not sure the gown and mortar board related to anything at all. Just a strange bloke who handed out sweets to kids and then suddenly disappeared.
Wasn’t the guy in the mortar board and gown Bobby Driver who featured on the League Liner eating tripe?

Do it. I did 22 years - eight in a primary school and 14 in secondary. I really felt I could make a difference, providing you are prepared to undergo the training and put in the effort in getting to know the school and read all the papers. It’s rewarding.
