I think in the main the squad is okay for the PL. We do need a quality central midfielder and a striker I feel, possibly a more experienced centre back. 3-4 decent signings should see us compete.

I would fear for Rochdale too. The smaller league clubs who are relegated always find it difficult - see Scunthorpe as one latest example. I would class Chesterfield as a much bigger club as Rochdale and they have found it difficult - look at how long it took Stockport to get back up.

I think he has something about him but does seem quite raw. Would be a shame to see him leave for good in the summer, but a loan for regular football would be a good move for him. I certainly don't think he's ready for PL football, but there is a player there so who knows in 12 month's time?

Not good re Maatsen. I actually thought he had dislocated his shoulder at Millwall (before Barnes dragged him on pitch), as he looked very uncomfortable after clashing with the hoardings. Hopefully a speedy recovery.
