Described by the BBC as a "veteran striker". Jeez, I feel old.

It’s odd from Wolves, how can you have an asset of that value for 12 months and only pay 10% in this sort of market. Really strange one It is because the transfer fee for Hoever (£9m?) is netted, so they are paying c£5m cash but transferring a third of the total value of Jota in year one (£14m = Ho...

Surely Mike has to offer his shares to existing shareholders first.if they can’t match the American offer then Mike can proceed. But would that not mean all shareholders have to see the offer?
Nothing in the Articles to suggest that is the case.

I think Brentford's cut has been reported as 27.5% of profit which I think may be the fee agreed with A.nother minus what we paid rumoured to be £3.5million
Here is a Ready Reckoner for the split of the sale proceeds based on mdd2's assumptions.

100% behind that. Fans are blaming him due to weaknesses in other areas of the field. I don't understand the criticism. It is amazing that he has been so consistent over the last 12 months but completely understandable that he will have dips in form. Rather than flog him like a shire horse you woul...

A very simple way of looking at things. It's not about quantity when you get to that number. I'd sooner we had 18 (plus youth players) but have better quality. We can't have it both ways with our finances. I am not asking for the world. If our finances are so desperate then we have to sell JT to re...

We are allowed 25 players in the squad. We currently have 21 as Dwight and other U21s don't count. I don't think it is unreasonable to have a squad of 25 players, particularly when you consider it is very possible that 6 or 7 could be injured at any one time. We are in the business of playing footba...

It’s criminal that we’re on the cusp of losing Tarky yet still let our record signing centre half leave on loan. For the good of the club something should’ve been sorted out. I like that the Club has let the website be designed as part of a primary school D&T project. My favourite part is where you get to click on "Teams" to then select a single option of "First Team", which should really say "First Team - Male". Perhaps other options will be added next term.

The clause only being active for NW clubs seems like 'new news'. Where has this come from? Yes, a bit of artistic licence with the dialogue, as I'm sure the 'F' word wasn't used in Georgian times, but it's certainly a gritty 'in your face' script.
Did people ever say "cunny"?

Samantha Morton is great in it. I remember watching her in Band of Gold all those years ago, ironically playing a prostitute. I wasn't over fond of Lucy as a character and thought Eloise Smyth who played her was a relative weak link.
The dialogue was sharp and it was refreshingly different overall.

Stephens is 31 so how long a contract would we need to offer to entice him? I would rather look elsewhere. At 30 Dawson is maybe easier - a straightforward 2yrs + 1yr option. I'd have him here on loan. Me too.
