To be fair, I thought the sprint was alright. It definitely made Friday more value for money for the spectators and Alonso doing so well has catapulted him up the order and made it more interesting and as has been mentioned, Perez so low down the order was quite a change to the norm. Not sure I agre...

Re: Dyche's best signing
I don't even know who I would vote for. Too many good names, when you see that Heaton, Tarkowski, Keane and Pope all became England internationals it's hard to choose. In terms of best signing do we factor in finance or only ability? Chris Wood has been a great signing but cost £15m whereas some of ...

A goal every other game is top drawer! Was there outrage?
(What was the messageboard reaction )
Looking at the stats, his career seemed to die at that stage with his record at Crewe. Had his legs gone?

I honestly don’t agree, Lingard and JWP don’t get into England’s starting eleven and neither are better than what’s already on the bench. They would literally be going to make up the numbers. If Maguire won’t be fit for first two games then extra CB is the right decision. I'd agree with that. We we...

Personally I don't mind the away goals rule. I don't find teams overly defensive at home and I think it's a better solution than a lot of games which drag out to 120 minutes and then are decided by penalties.
I do object to the away goals rule only counting after 120 minutes though

Nice full page article and a few mentions about Burnley, Wade and Dyche in there, even mentioning they use Barnfield to train at for all their North-West games.
