Re: Dyche says he's targetting 2 or 3 more players
No certainty last year non this year. We've as strong as a squad as we've had for a long time. We need some proven PL players which we've got not a team just full of youngsters. Give your head a wobble and get back to the potting shed.

Boo boo terrible we haven't spent millions....
We've a good chance of survival with Dyche at the at the helm as is. Looking forward to the season even if we didn't sign anyone else. Another CB is probably needed and no 10 would be ideal.

I am glad some members of this board don't run the club finances. Let's just throw tens of millions around. As teenagers they probably haven't handled proper money yet.

Reasons why we might not: player end of contract, from overseas, from lower league or in January when nearer end of contract. Remember Barton was 'free' but he wasn't cheap.

Post 269 is also how I see it. We did look effective against weaker teams at home with a 4-5-1. Other games need the tried and tested hard working 4-4-2.

Easton was in a league above Eckersley. I don't know how Eckersley has made a career out of football. Edgar was better than both.

For me I hope we make every effort to get Defour on to the pitch and to evolve I think we need to. We need to be able to change formations to suit different opposition. We also now have plenty of grafters and runners along with defensive midfielders to accommodate him.

Ok let's split hairs. He 'helped' establish the club to a certain level of standing and was in charge and controlled the club through one of the most successful periods of it history. That is the legacy.

It's not just about transfer fees. Barton cost no transfer fee but a fortune in wages. We may unearth some gem from abroad with a lower transfer fee. There are plenty of examples of huge fees for below average players of players who have failed.

The Episcopal Church has been welcoming gays for years and regards them as Children of God. It also prohibits the discrimination of transgender people. It's easier to generalise about all religion though.

Our approach is the correct one. Let some other clubs outbid us on wages as we can't compete and never will with it. We just need to get better and better at sourcing players as in years gone by.

Could do both ) Then we have cover for everywhere. We could just do with a bIt of flair or a number 10 type link player.

Not really surprising. They could be paying him 100k or 250k week even though he's not a starter. It's ridiculous and I think there's becoming a real disconnect between players and fans because of it because your average person just cannot relate to it.
