Just listening to the original LP and despite my reservations about the Sex Pistols, it’s a good record with some clever tunes and lyrics. Not the best punk stuff ever - but a great start!

He was a decent player for us but never got up to the form he played later at Villa. If only Bob Lord had seen past his hair and earring. Saw him score a screamer at St Andrews for us. Nice bloke with a ‘bit’ of an affinity with us lot.

Bumped into him on a service station on an away day early 80’s. A Burnley fan started giving him grief about Diedre. To this day I’m convinced he thought it was Mike Baldwin not Bill Roache.
