We don't need 13 wins to stay up.
I think 34 points will be enough this year.
Doubles over
Luton
Everton
Sheff utd
Bournemouth
wins @ home
Palace
Wolves
Draws (h or a)
Chelsea
Fulham
Brentford

Plus one random win elsewhere

To be honest it was flip of a coin him or Berge. Berge’s height may help in such a game, I was just disappointed with him today. Brownhill shouldn’t be starting many more for us at this level, but we are just lacking in options there (hence good old Jack Cork being considered again despite spending...

The Shirky principle is the adage that “institutions will try to preserve the problem to which they are the solution”. More broadly, it can also be characterized as the adage that “every entity tends to prolong the problem it is solving”.

And as we saw on Sunday, it's naive and we'll concede goal after goal. Totally agree, but that is where IMHO the transfer policy is pointing. We keep hoping for a left back, but if we are playing four at the back, don't we really need two LB's to compete for the position. My guess is the formation ...

That’s interesting (about the contract). I’d imagined they run season to season but if that’s correct maybe longer term deals are in place. That's not what I meant. What I meant is that I can't see VK going back to a rigid back 4 like SD used to play. As you say, the players he has can change formations to do subtle system changes in a game. I can only conclude by the absence of CT is that he is either injured, or that VK knows that he...

One of the assumptions that is being made is that we need a LB. I am not a tactical genius but playing 3-4-3 (from my sensible soccer days) would seem to suit the transfer business we have done and are doing.

Funny thing about the match, it reminded me of last Fridays match. England were in a 3-5-2 formation, which didn't work for the past 3 matches. It did against a poor Chinese team. We seemed to have no control in midfield, and the wing backs didn't defend well in this formation or get forward. Much b...

I don't disagree regarding Foster, I think he had a good game offensively - but he was never going to help Vitinho out defensively. I think we'd have had fewer balls into the box from that side if Taylor was defending, they're obviously different players but Taylor is a much better defender than Vi...
