I've been using them for years. Never had a problem.
However, following on from my latest trip, I won't be using them anymore.
Nothing to fault with them. It's just that VISA have started charging me a foreign transaction charge because they are a Dutch mob. I live in Aus and all my travel was in Aus.

That was a so called "transfer fee" on top of the fee paid at the entry turnstile. Early 60s it was 1/3 for kids.
