The team was built around Wood when we had Brady and JBG fit, firing and creating chances, and I don't remember people criticising him then. He suffered more than most from them being unable to stay fit and not be replaced/upgraded. For me what lessened his effectiveness was our later tactics of us...

Think people are getting ahead of themselves now. The difference between the leagues is huge and I’m sure kompany would happily take back Collins, Tarks, cornet, weghorst and maybe wood and McNeil.
