As long as it's not a dump and has plenty of screens showing the footy it will do fine on a matchday, and may even tempt a few people out of the fan zone. Not sure why anyone wants to stand in a tent in a car park drinking before a game anyway, but each his own.

Long is clearly happy picking up a good wage and not playing, so fair play to him, he's a perfect 4th choice centre back for us. Whether he looks back on his career in 20 or 30 years time and regrets not playing more is a different matter.

How about loaning Gibson to a Chanpionship side but we have the option of recalling him at any time? That way he gets to play some football and if Mee or Tarks get injured he can step in and be match fit, rather than having barely played for 18 months.
