Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS Jan 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Out of these, we should be extending some, as well as selling others. Brady, Hendrick, Westwood, possibly Hart/Lennon on low wages for back up. Lugzdins can go, Dunne doesn’t seem to be able to cut it but who knows, Bardsley can be replaced by a younger right back with Lowton as reserve. Then with ...

Can you honestly believe we will sign 5 first team players in the summer window? You have named 7 to go there, which I don't disagree with btw, but there's no way we can rebuild all that over one window. Signing another now gives us a chance. Boden has said Niasse is a non-starter. Boden and Daz Bentley really aren't the men to follow when it comes to our transfer business. Unless Hendrick is playing that well we can't drop him we should be looking at getting Brownhill in before the end of the season. No point in picking a player who will be gone in the summer. Just landed home from work from the Manchester Institute. Josh Brownhill has failed his medical and was sent home in tears. Not sure why ... To play devils advocate it's a lot easier to get caps and Champions League games If you're from Norway and play in Belgium. I'm quite happy our punt on a 20 something lad cost less than half this. Yeah obviously, no guarantee this lad will hack it in the Prem either. Its certainly a good show of am...

He's quite highly rated. Think he's only 21 but he's played in the Champions league and already got 20 odd caps for Norway. Maybe we should ask their European scouting team for a few pointers?

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS Jan 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Yes but no point letting him go for free - he’s still worth a lot of money. Most promoted teams would pay a lot for an established premier league midfielder who has scored a few goals. If he won't sign a new deal though there's not much we can do about it? Unless we tried to get shut this month, li...

Re: Brownhill having medical
Not as simple as that, if the player has any say, of course. A club cannot force their player to join Club A, if the player prefers Club B for example? Yeah, if Brownhill suddenly decided he didn't want to sign for us there's not much us or Bristol could do about it. I'm confident it's going throug...

Losing Hendrick on a free would be a loss, despite what the whipping boys say he is important to us as he plays multiple positions without grumbling and works ever so hard for the side. Scored 3 goals in 15 games this season in the Greek league, and 5 in 27 last season or something. Not exactly tearing up what must be league one level? As long as it's not a dump and has plenty of screens showing the footy it will do fine on a matchday, and may even tempt a few people out of the fan zone. Not sure why anyone wants to stand in a tent in a car park drinking before a game anyway, but each his own.

Long is clearly happy picking up a good wage and not playing, so fair play to him, he's a perfect 4th choice centre back for us. Whether he looks back on his career in 20 or 30 years time and regrets not playing more is a different matter.

The lager down at Spurs was cheaper than what you'd pay in a London pub. Think it was Amstel as well, so better than the usual Carlsberg, Fosters or Carling that's normally on offer at footy.

Loads of positives from this series. The opening order and getting a decent start - and that’s mostly without Rory Burns. How about loaning Gibson to a Chanpionship side but we have the option of recalling him at any time? That way he gets to play some football and if Mee or Tarks get injured he can step in and be match fit, rather than having barely played for 18 months.
