Mike Weirs Masters win in 2003 was a big deal in Canada. Since then we've had a number of PGA tour winners. Adan Hadwin (also a member of the 59 club), Mac Hughes, Cory Connors, Nick Taylor. Greame DeLaet and David Hearn also came close to a win. Not bad for a country more known for ice hockey. :D

From what I've been reading from reliable sources, a cheap or home made mask is of minimal protection, but possibly better than nothing. However the attached video explain quite clearly the best way to avoid this nasty virus.

Concorde did visit the Toronto Air Show a couple times back in the day, quite a sight to see, for sure. I'm surprised a modern version hasn't been built, I would imagine the market is there.

Brian O'Neil's sliding tackles were worthy of the entrance fee alone.. Can't find any pics though. Our Brian didn't take many prisoners :lol: Covered in mud from head to toe, with the angelic look of "who me?" after he'd almost taken the opponents feet off by the ankles.....priceless. Happy days :D

I'd go on Central League games often back in the day, was excellent for autograph hunting. Quite often the opposition would field well known players, either coming back from injury or been dropped from the 1st team for some reason.
